Unit price is the number buyers negotiate. Units per container is the number that decides whether the deal works. Here is how the three packing formats compare, plus a calculator so you can run the arithmetic yourself.
CBU
Fully assembled
Ready to sell on arrival. Fewest units per container, lowest labour at your end. Suited to low volumes and to markets with no assembly capability.
SKD
Semi-knocked-down
Wheels, mirrors, handlebar and body items packed separately. Substantially more units per container; assembly takes a trained person minutes, not hours.
CKD
Completely knocked-down
Maximum density and, in some markets, a materially lower duty rate. Requires a real assembly operation at destination. Ask us before assuming your market qualifies.

What a usable quotation contains
If a quotation is missing any of these lines, you cannot calculate landed cost and you cannot compare two suppliers honestly.

Logistics
Sea freight, and only sea freight
Lithium-equipped vehicles ship by sea from Ningbo. Samples included. The documentation set travels with the goods: bill of lading, commercial invoice, packing list, UN38.3, MSDS and the dangerous-goods packing certificate.
If you already have a forwarder, we work to their booking. If you do not, we will quote CIF and hand your broker a complete document set.
